This package contains the Linux kernel 6.8 that is used to boot and run your system. Most hardware drivers for this kernel are built as modules. There are some other kernel variants in ALT systems: * std-def: latest longterm (LTS) kernel; * un-def: latest stable kernel, usually higher version than std-def.
