This package contains the GIMP ToolKit (GTK+), a library for creating graphical user interfaces for the X Window System. GTK+ was originally written for the GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) image processing program, but is now used by several other programs as well. To use GTK1 in UTF-8 locales, you are advised to install this package: XFree86-cyr_rfx-fonts-iso10646-0400

- mdk-argb.patch (Frederic Crozat): in gdk_init(), set XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 environment before calling XOpenDisplay(), so as to prevent crashes when composite is enabled (#8225, #8354)
