Summary: Provides an interface to X selections from the command line
    Description:
xclip is a command line interface to the X11 clipboard. It can read data from
standard input or a file and place it in an X selection for pasting into other X
applications. xclip can also print an X selection to standard out, which can
then be redirected to a file or another program. It can also be used for copying
files, as an alternative to sftp/scp, thus avoiding password prompts when X11
    forwarding has already been setup.
